PDWP okays four uplift schemes

The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved four development schemes of various sectors with an estimated cost of Rs 7395.027 million. These schemes were approved in the 63rd meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2016-17 presided over the Chairman P&D Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan. All Members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting.
The approved development schemes included: Construction of Cardiology & Cardiac Surgery Block at B.V. Hospital Bahawalpur (Revised) at the cost of Rs 1693.970 million; Establishment of 100 Bedded Tehsil Level Hospital at Manawan (Rakh Chabil) G.T. Road, Lahore at the cost of Rs 676.332 million, Channelization of Nullah Jabba in Tehsil & District Mianwali at the cost of Rs 919.986 million and Extension Service 2.0- Farmer Facilitation through Modernised Extension (Revised) at the cost of Rs 4104.739 million.
