Ever since Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have announced their wedding, the virtual world is abuzz with details of the much-anticipated wedding scheduled to take place on November 14 and 15.
According to a new report in Mid Day, Deepika and Ranveer will marry in the south Indian tradition as well as in the north Indian way. The wedding, which will take place in Lake Como, Italy, will kick start by a sangeet function on November 13.
This will be followed by a Kannadiga style wedding on November 14. On November 15, they will tie the knot again, this time in the north Indian way. Since Deepika is a south Indian and Ranveer is of Sindhi-Punjabi origin, the two families decided to follow customs practiced by both communities. The wedding will be strictly a family affair with almost no Bollywood industry person in attendance with some exceptions.
Since Deepika shares a deep bond with Shah Rukh Khan and Farah Khan (who launched her in the film Om Shanti Om), the-bride-to-be is reportedly keen that they be present on the most important day of her life. The other two people, expected to join are Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Aditya Chopra, whom the couple consider their mentors. Arjun Kapoor is too expected to attend the function.
Almost two weeks later, when they will most likely be back from their honeymoon, the two will host a grand reception for B-Town film fraternity in Mumbai on December 1.
