The trailer of latest installment of Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy’s film ‘3 Bahadur: Rise of Warriors’ has been released, which features the young superhero trio of Kamil, Saadi and Amna.
Rise of the Warriors sees them befriend a fellow superhero Erma and help her fight her arch nemesis Babushka. The trailer also tells us that Uncle Deenu, who was one of their strongest supporters in the first installment, has gone over to the bad side.
Pakistan’s first animated movie ‘3 Bahadur’ was released in 2015, while the movie's sequel ‘3 Bahadur: The Revenge of Baba Balaam’ hit screens in 2016. Now the team is back again with the third and final installment of the franchise.
The last animated film that hit the theaters was ‘The Donkey King’, which has broken lifetime records of all Pakistani animated movies ever launched in the country, including ‘3 Bahadur’ and ‘Allahyar: The Legend of Markhor’.
‘The Donkey King’ has entered its second week of release and has made a total of PKR 8.5 crores, becoming the highest Pakistani animated grosser of all time. The crown was earlier held by ‘3 Bahadur: The Revenge of Baba Balam’ with a total of 8.1 crores but now, ‘The Donkey King’ has reportedly broken the record, local media reported.
‘3 Bahadur: Rise of Warriors’ will hit theatres on December 14. Fans will have to wait and see if it will regain its position as the highest grossing animated movie of Pakistan.
