Corps Commander, Shahbaz discuss Radd-ul-Fasaad

Lahore Corps Commander Lieutenant General Mohammad Sadiq Ali called on Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif here Friday at a meeting to exchange ideas on professional issues, security issues and Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad. The meeting expressed satisfaction over the continued acts against terrorists and their facilitators and reiterated their commitment to intensify operations against the insurgency until its complete eradication.
Punjab Chief Minister also paid tribute to the sacrifices of the officers and Jawans of the armed forces in the fight against terrorism. While talking at this occasion CM said that war against terrorism is actually the war of existence for Pakistan and incredible sacrifices of brave sons of our nation is bringing back peace to our homeland. He said that mind-set auxiliary to terrorism, extremism, insurgency and sectarianism needs to be reformed as nation has vowed to curb this scrounge of terrorism with co-ordinated efforts. Pakistan army is capable of dealing with internal and external threats and their bravery in war against terrorism has inscribed new history, he added.
Shehbaz Sharif said that Pakistan has gained a lot of achievements in war against terrorism and it is hoped that operation Radd-ul-Fasaad will stop the malevolence of fear based oppression from the beginning. He said that NAP is the certification of peace in Pakistan and joint decisions of political leadership and armed forces is bringing fruitful results.
He said that the world has acknowledged the great sacrifices being rendered by Pakistan in fight against terrorism and whole nation is standing firm against nefarious designs of terrorists. He vowed that those playing with the innocent lives would be held accountable adding no stone would be left unturned to fall flat the schemes of foes.
