PDWP approves seven uplift schemes

The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) approved seven development schemes of P&D and Road sectors with an estimated cost of Rs 24817.687 million. These schemes were approved in the 64th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2016-17 presided over the Punjab Chairman P&D Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan. Provincial Secretary P&D Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, all Members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting.
The approved development schemes included Punjab Health Survey Round II, 2017 (PC-II) at the cost of Rs 35.00 million, Construction of High Level Bridge over River Jhelum at Langarwala Pattan to Sahiwal in Sargodha & Khushab District (Revised) at the cost of Rs 3019.560 million, Dualization of Khanewal Lodhran Road (Section from km 00.00 to 40.00 length=40 km) District Khanewal at the cost of Rs 7933.221 million, Dualization of Khanewal Lodhran Road (Section from Km 40.00 to 51.00=11.00km, District Vehari at the cost of Rs 2535.128 million, Dualization of Khanewal Lodhran Road (Section from km 51.00 to 94.00=43 km, District Lodhran at the cost of Rs 7688.145 million, Construction of Flyover on Khanewal Lodhran Road, at Chowk Matila District Vehari at the cost of Rs 1148.217 million and Construction of Interchange on Khanewal Lodhran Road, District Khanewal at the cost of Rs 2458.416 million.
