PPP workers vow to accomplish Bhutto's mission

While paying glowing tribute to Pakistan People's Party (PPP) founding chairman and former prime minister Shaheed Zufikar Ali Bhutto (ZAB), the party workers have vowed to accomplish his mission and ready to give any kind of sacrifice in this regard. They went on to say that Bhutto was a progressive and democratic leader and was known across the globe for his vision for the prosperity of the down-trodden class.
Speakers at a seminar organised by Peoples' Doctors Forum (PDF) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in connection with the 38th death anniversary of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Shaheed at Peshawar Press Club on Tuesday paid glowing tributes to Bhutto, saying he made labourers, farmers, workers, and have-nots conscious of their rights and also how to get these from the elite who were an embodiment of their exploitation.
PDF president, Dr Nisar Khan, PPP deputy secretary information Gohar Inqelabi, former president Hamidullah Zahid, ideological worker Anwar Zeb Khan, former president Jamal Khattak, Syed Ayub Shah, Ghani Gul Mehsud, Tahir Abbas were keynote speakers on the occasion. Besides, leaders of People Youth Federation, workers, lawyers, and people from different walk of life were present in the event.
The party leaders alleged that Judiciary, Army and Establishment remained opponent of PPP and creating hurdles for PPP government adding that unnecessary criticism against PPP had been continued. Pakistan People's Party is a party of the masses, and Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and slain chairperson Benazir Bhutto had always been raised voice for the stability of democratic process and for the poor segment of society, the participants said.
The speakers also said that it was PPP late founder chairman who made the country an atomic state of the world, and give it an honourable status in the international community. They blamed that when PPP has been in power conspiracies hatched against it. They said that the party leaders were faced all kind of difficulties, but never bowed before any dictator and their authoritarian rule.
Other speakers including Gohar Inqebali, Hamidullah Zahid, vowed to carry forward Zulfikar Ali Bhutto's mission of public welfare and strengthen the democracy in the tribal areas. They said that PPP workers would continue their efforts to replace century old colonial system in the Fata with country regular law. Earlier, the participant offered Fateh Khawani on the occasion.
