Khyber Medical University (KMU) Peshawar will hold the 5th annual three-day International conference on Medical Education at the university from today (Friday). According to statement issued here on Thursday, the university will organize a three-day international conference from 7th-9th April 2017 at Phase-V Hayatabad Peshawar. The theme of the conference is "Curriculum Innovation: Global and Local Trends."
According to the coordinator of the conference Dr Brekhna Jamil, this conference will not only provide a platform for promotion of Medical Education but will also help in devising an advanced and standard curriculum of medical and dental education. She said 32 pre-conference workshops on a variety of topics will be held on 7th April 2017 in the morning and evening sessions followed by two day conference on April 8-9, 2017.
In this context the formal inaugural ceremony of the conference will be held tomorrow Saturday at 9:00 AM in the Multi Purposes Hall of the University at Phase-5 Hayatabad. She said on the 1st day (today) two sessions one in morning and the other one will be held in the evening and in both sessions 32 workshops will be conducted on different topics by renowned experts and Medical educationists from different organization. Dr Brekhna Jamil added that it is an immense moment that beside experts from across the country medical educationists from abroad will also participate in the said event.
