Activists of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) celebrated the judgment of the Supreme Court in Panama case as they took to streets in jubilation on Thursday.
In Lahore, the PML-N local leaders distributed sweets and also expressed happiness over the decision of the apex court. The PML-N workers also reached shrine of Data Darbar and offered 'Nawafil' and prayed for the betterment of the country.
The PML-N leaders also reached Model Town Office where they shared their views about judgment on Panama case.
PML-N leader Mohammad Pervaiz Malik said the apex court's decision has defeated the politics of agitation and allegations and this decision is the victory of people of Pakistan who voted for Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif.
According to him, Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif has set a precedent by presenting himself and his family's three generations before the apex court for accountability. The PML-N will win in the people's court in 2018. Not only we will establish their government in all four provinces but also they will get two-third majority, he said.
Malik further said those who want to get the elected prime minister disqualified faced failure as the opponents tried to sabotage the people's mandate by unconstitutional means.
Moreover, PML-N activists thronged the offices of PML-N legislators and UC chairmen where sweats were distributed. At the offices of some PML-N MPAs, food was served to the N-League workers.
Punjab Minister for Education Rana Mashood welcomed the verdict of the Supreme Court and said it is a fact that truth wins and the decision in the Panama Case has proved it.
He said the nation was standing with Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and thanked the nation for their moral support.
