Share of Tank, D I Khan shrink in SADP funds

The provincial government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has cut the volume of Southern Area Development Program (SADP) for Tank and Dera Ismail Khan districts as major chunk of the funds were utilized in Lakki Marwat district.
The officials of the provincial government confided to this scribe that in 2012, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government in collaboration with World Bank launched Rs.5 billion SADP project for the socio-economic uplift of the southern districts of the province. Under the project a fund of Rs.5 billion was allocated for Tank, Dera Ismail Khan and Lakki Marwat.
The multi-purpose community project was aimed at initiating uplift schemes in public health, roads and social sectors to enhance the living standard of the masses and bring prosperity in their respective areas.
