Rangers dig out arms, ammunitions in Karachi

Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) on Friday claimed to have recovered heavy cache of arms dumped in a plot in Musharraf Colony. The Rangers accused Muttahida Qaumi Movement London (MQM-L) of having buried the weapons in Musharraf Colony. A spokesman of the Rangers said in a statement that the arms were dug out of the plot that was lying unused. He said the arms and ammunitions were to be used for target killing and terrorism in Karachi.
An SMG with six magazines, two rifles with five magazines, five 30-bore pistols with 16 magazines, two 30-bore MP5, two 9mm MP5 with 12 9mm magazines, two 12 bore shotguns, four bullet-proof jackets, and 1968 rounds of different varieties were dug out of the plot, according to the statement.
