Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Ameer, Senator Siraj-ul-Haq has said that the prevailing status quo is the production of corruption. Addressing a grand Ulema and Mashaikh Convention in Tehmas Khan Stadium, here on Sunday, he said that there is no name of any religious cleric or student of seminary in the Panama scandal but it has the names of the rulers and their children.
Other who addressed the ceremony were included Ameer JI KP, Mushtaq Ahmad Khan; Central President, Jamiat Ittehad Ulema, Maulana Abdul Malik; Vice President, Abdul Jalil Naqashbandi; Maulana Abdul Akbar Chitrali, Maulana Asadullah, Maulana Mohammad Ismail, Maulana Dr Atta-ur-Rehman.
He said that the future of Pakistan did not belong to secularism and liberalism, but to Islam, saying the next general elections would be battle between cruel and oppressed and Ghulaman-e-Trump and Ghulaman-e-Mustafa. He urged the people to join hands with Jamaat-e-Islami in this war to play the role of line brigade in it. The JI chief said that Western civilization has brought their own nations on the brink of destruction and now our rulers have become fans of that Western culture. However, he said that they strongly condemn that civilization.
He recalled that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has pledged in Madina to abolish interest-based financial system, but it is matter of sorrow that he stood in defence of Riba and against the decision of the Federal Shariat Court (FSC). He vowed that they will wage war against the supporters of the Riba. Senator Siraj-ul-Haq said that not only all religious political parties, rather he wanted the unity of the Ummah.
