Dell EMC sees Pakistan as one of the globally potential markets with main focus on banking, media, telecom and other sectors and wants to provide technology related solutions to them.
"Our company exists in the country for 20 years with experience and capabilities to serve businesses. Pockets of excellence exist in the country," said General Manager Dell EMC, Naveed Siraj at a media briefing where vice president, Asian Emerging Markets Regional, Chue Chee Wei, Infrastructure Director Dell EMC, Naveed Khan, Senior Solutions Consultant, Muhammad Akif and Marketing Manager, Dell EMC, Arooj A Minhas also briefed about the digital and IT transformation for businesses.
Naveed Siraj said that the business leaders can succeed with the deployment of technologies. "Constant GDP growth and availability of youth, falling below the age 25 years, are the key factors to grow the prospects of technological development in the country," he said, adding that Dell EMC is set to strengthen its position in Pakistani markets with a greater presence. He said that the country's workforce that is skilled with IT expertise is keen to serve the country round the clock. He said that professionals enjoy work and public sector, media and other organisations can benefit from the technological advancements. He said that the technological solutions that Dell EMC provides can help grow productivity.
Chue Chee Wei said that Pakistan was a part of South Asian nations' group but he made it an individual country keeping in view its potential. "In February, I pulled Pakistan out of the South Asian group," he said, adding that the country would have now its own investments and it will be a big thing. He said that the banking sector would go for digitalization of their services as new applications and technologies were coming to the country.
