A Karachi-based businessman Shahzad Riaz has claimed that he has been doing business of import and sales of tractors in Pakistan for more than 12 years and contributing a huge amount to the treasury through tax payments, which are in hundreds of millions. He accuses a business group of trying to take complete control of his tractor business in Pakistan for the last 2 years.
According to the complainant, Sindh government is arresting all those who are doing business with him, and pressing them not to do business with him, adding that raids are being carried to harass them. "Please save me from illegal pressure tactics from Sindh government's machinery and enable me and my business associates to carry out business activities in normal way without any harassment and without fear," he said.
