Qaumi Watan Party Chairman, Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao, has condemned a huge bomb blast that shook Kabul on Wednesday, killing at least 80 people, and injuring hundreds of others. The QWP chief in a statement said that terrorism had played havoc with lives of people in both Pakistan and Afghanistan during last decade and it was time that both the states should devise joint strategy to get rid of the menace of terrorism. He also expressed his sympathies with the employees of foreign missions in Afghanistan.
Expressing his heartfelt sympathies with the families of the deceased and wounded, the QWP chief said the blood shed had also caused a serious unrest among the people of Pakistan as neighbouring Islamic state. "It is need of the hour that both Afghanistan and Pakistan should join hands to take unified stand against terrorists in order to restore sustainable peace and strengthen economy in both the countries," he said.
