Blocked CNICs' verification process launched in Bajaur Agency

The Bajaur Agency administration has launched the verification process of the blocked computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs) in the Agency. Assistant political agent Anwarul Haq told journalists that the verification process of blocked CNICs has been started on the directives of interior ministry and National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA).
He said that a cell has been established in this regard at the local administration' compound in civil colony in Khar mean to examine the causes behind the blockage of CNICs.
He said that the residents have been asked to contact the relevant office with complete documents for unblocking of their CNICs including their domicile certificates, their Old CNICs, driving license, arms license and property documents( which made before) 1978. To a question, he said that verification process of the blocked CNICS would soon extend to the entire agency. Meanwhile the people's whose CNICs had been blocked by the NADRA have welcomed the move of local administration about clarification of their cards.
