Korangi traders' plea to Prime Minister

The president of the Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI), Masood Naqi, has urged the prime minister to consider providing low prices to the industry which is the longtime concern of the city's industry. He said that expensive energy bills share the largest part of heavy production cost in industry. He said that Karachi's industry didn't get the relief of lower tariffs during last year.
The former president of the FPCCI, S M Muneer, congratulated Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on achieving the power generation milestone of 19,248 megawatt S. M. Muneer said that the present federal government, and especially the prime minister, put his best efforts to resolve the energy crises and it is remarkable. He said that energy is a prerequisite for steady industrialization. S. M. Muneer said that now to provide cheap energy to industries is a bigger challenge to achieve for the government.
