On Monday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 2,938. The total traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 2.413 billion and the number of lots traded was 7,885. Major business was contributed by WTI crude amounting to PKR 858.167 million, followed by currencies through COTS PKR 744.658 million, gold PKR 659.114 million, copper PKR 58.425 million, silver PKR 50.898 million, platinum PKR 21.105 million, natural gas PKR 12.284 million and Brent crude oil PKR 8.944 million.
