Drone of Pakistan Army crashed on Wednesday due to technical glitch in Bahawalnagar however no loss of life was reported. According to sources, the drone was on monitoring during which it fell in the fields in Muhammadpur area of Bahawalnagar. A team of Pakistan Army arrived at the scene and removed the debris. Moreover, investigation into the matter has been launched.
Earlier on April 15, 2017, training aircraft 'Mushshak' of Pakistan Army took off from Mangla Airbase for training exercise but encountered an accident in Haral Village. However, both pilots Colonel Fazl-ur-Rehman and Captain Affan remained safe in the crash. Pakistan's armed forces have had several air accidents in the past 18 months, including a crash that killed female jet pilot in another training exercise in November last year.
