Election Commission of Pakistan on Tuesday disqualified a member of Punjab Assembly of PML-N Shaukat Aziz Bhatti over possessing fake degree case. Bhatti was elected an MPA from PP-4 Gujar Khan on Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) ticket in 2013 general elections. A five-member bench of ECP headed by Chief Election Commissioner former Justice Sardar Raza Khan heard the application seeking disqualification of the MPA. A citizen Iftikhar Kayani had moved the ECP for his disqualification.
