Leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Quami Watan Party (QWP), Awami National Party (ANP) and PML-N from Malakand division have rejected the All Parties Conference (APC) held in connection with Dargai firing on participants of protest rally against excessive power outages
While addressing a press conference in Dargai Malakand division on Tuesday, Haji Iftikhar, Muhammad Raziq advocate, Haji Fida Muhammad of PTI, ANP district president Shafiullah along-with Musafar Khan, Irshad Khan Mohmand, QWP ex-MPA and District chairman Haji Jehangir, son of PML-N Ex-MNA Haji Muhammad Khan Uthmankhel, Hayat Khan and member of Wartair village grand Jirga Azeemullah along-with other dozen dwellers of Wartair area of Tehsil Dargai, who come on strike toward Dargai Pesco offices on May 29 last, in which one Javed Tofan was killed and 15 others injured in the direct firing incident on the demonstrators.
Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Parwez Khattak directed for judicial inquiry in this regard and also announced to approve a death compensation of Rs 2 million and one government service for Javed Tofan's family at Wartair village and one lakh each for the injured persons. But still, the amount has not paid to the victims. The political leadership informed in the press conference and announced that dialogue with the concerned departments would be started just after the payment to the victim's family.
Muhammad Raziq advocate of PTI rejected the two other FIRs lodged against the demonstrators and asked for its earliest sealing. He along with other political leaders also criticised JI ex-minister treasury Shah raaz Khan and ex-MNA Bakhtyar Maani for interfering in the hydro-electrical net profit of PK 98 for their self-political interest and asked them to resolve first the problems being faced by the dwellers I PK 99, their own area, he added. He rejected the last night APC held under the chairmanship of MPA Muhammad Ali Shah Bacha of PPP and termed it an act of political point scoring on the deceased's body.
