US Midwest corn bids narrowly higher

Corn spot basis bids were mostly steady to narrowly higher at US Midwest processors and elevators on Tuesday as farmers continued to delay sales, grain merchants said. Bids gained by 1 cent per bushel at a corn syrup maker near Chicago and by about 4 cents at a terminal in Hereford, Texas, that supplies cattle feedlot operations. Corn futures fell to a roughly three-week low, keeping selling interest to a minimum.
