Corn spot basis bids were mostly steady to narrowly higher at US Midwest processors and elevators on Tuesday as farmers continued to delay sales, grain merchants said. Bids gained by 1 cent per bushel at a corn syrup maker near Chicago and by about 4 cents at a terminal in Hereford, Texas, that supplies cattle feedlot operations. Corn futures fell to a roughly three-week low, keeping selling interest to a minimum.
