England international goalkeeper Fraser Forster has signed a new five-year deal with Southampton, the Premier League club confirmed Wednesday. The 29-year-old had agreed a contract last summer until 2021, but the former Celtic stopper has now extended that for another season. Forster arrived from Celtic in 2014 and has established himself as one of the top flight's finest 'keepers, playing in all 38 league games last season and featuring 103 times in all competitions in Saints colours.
"I'm delighted. I have absolutely loved my time here at Southampton so far and when the opportunity came along to extend it I didn't think twice about it," said Forster.
