President PPP Punjab Qamar Zaman Kaira vowed on Tuesday to continue with 'Go Nawaz Go' movement ahead, saying a big political explosion is quite imminent. Both Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and PTI Chairman Imran Khan are in trouble, he added. He was addressing a press conference at the PPP Punjab secretariat in Model Town. Provincial and city leadership of the party was also present on the occasion.
He said the PPP movement of 'Go Nawaz Go' has become a true voice of the people of Pakistan. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif would have to step down otherwise the Supreme Court would disqualify him, he warned. He also criticized the government for applying law against lawful and peaceful protest of the opposition parties and added that the government was not active against terrorists the way it was against the opposition. He said the PPP would take out rallies throughout the country and Chairman Bilawal Bhutto would lead them in next phase.
He also doubted the government seriousness in curbing terrorism and demanded free hand to the law enforcement agencies for eradicating sleeper cells in urban areas. Meanwhile, Kaira also visited the victims of Ferozepur Road blast admitted to the General Hospital.
