The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) on Saturday severely criticized the poor performance and below the mark services of PIA and called for its immediate restructuring. LCCI President Abdul Basit, Senior Vice President Amjad Ali Jawa and Vice President Muhammad Nasir Hameed Khan in their joint statement said that mismanagement has brought PIA to the verge of collapse. The condition of national flag carrier is pathetic and either the government should privatize it or some competent person should be hired to bring it back on track, they said.
