Jamiat-e-Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) has warned that if the provincial government was failed to take prompt steps for control of dengue virus, the party workers would stage protest outside Chief Minister House.
Speaking at a news conference at Peshawar Press Club on Tuesday, JUI-F central leader, Haji Ghulam Ali said that more than three people were died, while 150 others were suffered during a week due to outbreak of dengue virus. He feared that if the heath authorities didn't take timely precautionary measures, then a large number of people would be affected from widespread of the disease.
JUI-F leader said the registering of 150 dengue cases during a month, has exposed the poor performance of PTI-led provincial government in health sector, as it was not interested in resolution of public issues. He criticized that PTI chairman Imran Khan claims for building new Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, so he should come to the province, and see the conditions and facilities of hospitals, wherein no medicines were available for poor patients, he regretted. He said the incumbent provincial government had completely failed to provide any relief and facilities to masses. JUI-F leader said KP local government system was failed as the LG representatives don't have right to order for launch of fumigation drive in case of outbreak of any epidemic or disease in the area.
