Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said on Friday that elements incurring losses to the "development journey" will not even be able to show their faces to the people. "We are committed to serve the public and no conspirator can stop us from public service. We shall respect the public mandate and shall also come up to the expectations of the people. We have spent every moment of our life for public service and national development and added that difficulties arising due to service of the people are meaningless," Shahbaz said in a statement.
Shahbaz maintained that Pakistan Muslim League-N has always done the politics of principles and our political approach is based on the principles of tolerance, harmony and mannerism. On the other side, the elements involved in the politics of personal gains have left no stone unturned to put the national development and well-being of the people at stake and remained indulged in harboring new conspiracies every day to obstruct this journey of development and prosperity. He said, "Good governance, merit and transparency are pivot of the politics of PML-N."
He said that national economy has been strengthened due to the steps taken by Nawaz Sharif during the last four years. He said that rehabilitation of the common man and national development have been our top priorities as we have wholly served the people and shall continue this journey of public service in future, as well.
