Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto will launch public contact campaign in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from next week, said party sources. According to the sources, the party chairman has decided to stay among the people of Pakistan in a situation when the opposition parties are facing credibility loss due to different reasons.
Earlier, they added, Bilawal was due to hold public meetings in the context of Panama Papers case to force the former prime minister for resignation in the wake of the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) report. However, the schedule of public meetings has been kept intact despite the disqualification of former premier, they added.

According to the schedule, Bilawal will address a public rally in district Chiniot on August 12, followed by district Mansehra of KP on August 19, district Attock of Punjab on August 26 and district Sahiwal of Punjab after the Eid.
The party sources said the province of KP would be focus of Chairman Bilawal during his mass contact campaign. It would be followed by his visit to the province of Punjab, they added. Bilawal will also hold workers conventions in order to muster public support ahead of 2018 general elections.
