A picture is worth a thousand words is a fact that has found its best expression from the photograph of recently-held Chief Commissioners of Federal Bureau of Revenue's Conference that showed the participants and the finance minister as well. Dar was perhaps not the same man the nation had seen him prior to the Supreme Court's verdict in the Panama Papers case. He was looking dejected and forlorn. Trying to keep a straight face, Dar directed tax machinery to continue focusing on direct taxes to improve overall revenue collection of Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and expand the tax net with a special focus on increasing the confidence of taxpayers. The picture, however, showed that Dar's self-confidence is ebbing away little by little.
