Independence Day preparations at peak in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Fata

The preparations to celebrate the Independence Day on August 14, in a befitting manner and with a pledge to work with zeal for strong and prosperous Pakistan, have reached at their peak in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and tribal region. During a visit by this scribe in various locations in provincial capital on Monday, it was witnessed that a huge rush of kids were seen at makeshift stalls, selling national flags, buntings, posters stickers and candles at historic Qissa Khawani Bazaar, Ghanta Ghar, saddar Bazaar and other markets.
Cars, motorcycles, and buildings of government departments, and other institutions, decorated with flags and buntings. The business of these items at all big stores as well as roadside vendors which started on August 1 has now reached its peak, which shows the zeal of people belonging to all ages. On August 14, special prayers will be offered for the prosperity, integrity and solidarity of the country and unity of the Muslim Ummah.
On the other hand, it was observed that prices of flags, pictures of national heroes and other stuff like badges are out of reach of common man. Printers and makers of bindings, flags, banners and badges are fully engaged in their business.
Meanwhile, the gorgeous paintings also show strength of hope as being united, besides highlighting the youths determination to add great value to the country with their contributions as true Pakistanis. Every painting is an effort and a masterpiece in itself, showing the positive side of life and soft image of the country.
Meanwhile, youth in various agencies of Federally Administered Tribal Areas have finalized the arrangements to celebrate the 70th Independence Day in full national and patriotic zeal across the tribal region. Bazaars, shopping markets and roads are being decorated with buntings, flags, and other decorations items, while people also decorated their cars with various colours.
