ANP workers stage rally against corruption

Workers of Awami National Party (ANP) in district Karak on Saturday took out a protest rally against the ongoing corruption, shifting of oil refinery and ignoring southern districts in China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). The protest rally led by provincial joint secretary of ANP Khursheed Khattak, former provincial minister Nawabzada Mohsin Ali Khan, district president Sajjad Ahmad Khan Marched form Town Hall Karak to Saddam Chowk where they addressed to the participants. The workers chanted slogans in favour of their demands.
The speakers on the occasion strongly criticized the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf led provincial government and claimed that PTI has miserably failed to curb corruption in the province. They alleged that corruption has been increased manifolds in the district during PTI ruling and the lawmakers receiving commissions up to 20 percent in developmental projects and the Chief of PTI Imran Khan has kept mum over the record corruption.
They also protested on the negligence of Southern districts in CPEC and shifting of oil refinery from district Karak. Earlier a function was held in Town Hall Karak and the speakers of ANP paid tributes to the martyrs of Babra. They resolved that the sacrifices rendered by the workers of ANP would not go waste.
