Ambassador Syed Adil Gilani on Sunday inaugurated the festivities to mark the 70th anniversary of Pakistan's independence in the famous and popular Republic Square of Belgrade. A half kilometer walk was inaugurated by him in which Serbian girls clad in beautiful Pakistani dresses presented traditional dances on the tune of Pakistani music.
Seven horse-driven carriages decorated with Pakistani flag were part of the walk. Serbian people, Pakistani community and the Diplomatic Corps was also present on the occasion. At the end, the guests were served with Pakistani mangoes. -PR
