A well-attended ceremony was held at the Khairpur College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology to celebrate the 70th anniversary Pakistan's Independence. The principal Dr Mohammad Ibrahim Keerio hoisted national flag of Pakistan. "Pakistan came into being after countless sacrifices rendered by Muslims of the subcontinent under the dynamic and unwavering leadership of Mohammad Ali Jinnah," Keerio said, addressing the staff of the college and others on the occasion.
He said that the credit goes to the leadership of Jinnah that Muslims of subcontinent successfully got independence from the British colonial rule and established a separate homeland for the Muslim of the subcontinent. "We are fortunate that we are free nation. It is our responsibility to accomplish the mission of our ancestors by making Pakistan a really welfare and viable state in accordance with the vision of founder of the nation Mohammad Ali Jinnah," he emphasised.-PR
