Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has issued a notice to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader and former MNA Muhammad Hanif Abbasi, seeking details of assets and bank accounts held by him and his family members, relatives and associates and stopping Abbasi from outward transactions without prior permission of the ANF.
The notice has been issued to Abbasi in connection with further inquiry into the ephedrine case against him. As per the notice, ANF is conducting an inquiry into the assets of accused Abbasi and his family members, relatives and associates including Mehnaz Abbasi, the wife of Hanif Abbasi, Areeba Abbasi, the daughter of Hanif Abbasi, Hamas Ullah Abbasi, the son of Hanif Abbasi, Zoha Khalil Abbasi, the daughter of Hanif Abbasi and Basit Abbasi, the brother of Hanif Abbasi.
Through the notice, Hanif Abbasi and his family members have been asked to provide attested copies of all of their assets and bank accounts, certificates, policies and fixed deposits being maintained/owned in the name of aforesaid accused persons or in the name of relatives and associates.
