A traffic warden of the City Traffic Police (CTPL) was found 'crushed to death' under Gulzar underpass on Canal Bank Road in the wee hours of Saturday. Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Rai Ijaz Ahmad said that Hafiz Naeem, 55, was on his duty when he signaled a truck driver to stop but it hit him and sped away the scene. Consequently, the warden received critical head injuries and was rushed to the Services Hospital where he breathed his last, the CTO added.
