Pakistan wants peace in region: Rajwana

Punjab governor Rafique Rajwana has said that Pakistan is a peaceful democratic country, which has played its positive role for peace in the region. He stated this during a meeting with the US Consulate General, Elizabeth Kennedy Trudeau in Lahore. The governor said Pakistani public and armed forces have rendered unprecedented sacrifices in the war against terrorism. He said that friendly relations exist between Pakistan and the US and these relations would be further improved in the coming days.
He said that Pakistan has achieved numerous successes in different sectors during the last four years and as a result, Pakistan is more secure, peaceful, prosperous and developed than before.
