Karachi: Learning Minds signed an MoU with The Citizens Foundation (TCF) on Thursday, November 8, 2018, to support their mission of enabling moral, spiritual and intellectual enlightenment through quality education. As a TCF’s partner, Learning Minds will adopt a TCF school; raise funds over time to support the day-to-day operational cost and keep the school running.
“Learning Minds strongly believes in the power of quality education. When we thought of the impactful ways of giving back to the community, TCF was the name that was on top of our mind. It is one of the most transparent and trusted not-for-profits in the field of education. I am hopeful that we can combine our synergies to help educate the young minds and create more agents of positive change over time,” said Shama Zindani, during the MoU ceremony.
“We’re very excited and we look forward to developing a long-term association with The Citizens Foundation,” Syeda Zauwia Riaz, Manager, Communications & PR, Learning Minds, added.
The event signing ceremony took place at TCF’s head office located in Korangi Industrial Area, Karachi. The MoU was signed by Shama Zindani, COO, Learning Minds and Isfandyar Inayat, GM, Strategic Partnerships & Community Outreach, The Citizens Foundation.
“TCF is committed to create meaningful impact in the lives of the less privileged people all over Pakistan. When organizations like Learning Minds decide to join our movement of educating Pakistan, it is humbling and heartening at the same time. With their purpose-built schools, TCF has established 1,482 school units across Pakistan providing education to more than 200,000 less privileged children,” said Isfandyar Inayat.
Learning Minds will also work with TCF on a series of video messages highlighting social issues pertaining to education. The partnership will create awareness for the need of education and also establish impactful interventions to raise funds for the cause of education.
