The provincial minister for education and literacy, Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar, has directed the regional director of colleges in Karachi to complete the admission process for first year in colleges on schedule so that students' time is wasted. Presiding over a meeting, he said that through CAP the admissions were being given to the students who passed matriculation examinations. He said that the education department is aware of irregularities in the promotion of headmasters and subject specialists and an inquiry committee has been constituted to deal with the problem.
