Maryam Nawaz, daughter of the ousted Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, confirmed on Wednesday that her mother, Begum Kulsoom Nawaz, was diagnosed with curable lymphoma. "My mother has been diagnosed with lymphoma, cancer of lymph nodes, left side of neck in her case. Her treatment begins immediately," Maryam said in a couple of tweets.
