Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs, Mahmood Khan has said that speedy work on 1000 micro-hydel power projects is in progress at feasible sites to arrest energy crisis in the province. Some of these projects have been completed while work on some is in final stages adding the completion of these projects will resolve the problem of load shedding in the province on permanent basis.
He expressed these views while addressing the inauguration ceremony of Matta-IV feeder here in Khawazakhela, District Swat on Saturday. The construction of the power feeder will cost an amount of nearly Rs 30 million, which will resolve the problems of low voltage and load shedding in Tehsil Matta, Swat on permanent basis.
Mahmood Khan said that the provincial minister is utilizing the resources of the province on the welfare of the people. He said that construction work on Daral Khawar Project would complete soon and electricity generated from it will be provided to the people of Swat.
