Secretary General Jamaat-e-Islami Women's Wing, Durdana Siddique has expressed concern over the brutal killing of Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar. While raising her voice for justice for the Rohingya Muslims, she said the silence of international community over the plight of Rohingya Muslims is out of our understanding.
"Silence of the peace makers and international NGOs on the violence in Burma remains a question", she said and added that UNO should consider the Rohingya Muslims equal humans like everyone else. She also criticized the role of Muslim leaders and said OIC & Muslim countries are even not properly responding, which is also a matter of concern. "The head of Muslim countries and leaders except Turkey are not condemning the situation openly or not making efforts to resolve the matter on diplomatic level", Durdana added.
