Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif Wednesday said the first phase of Pakistan Kidney & Liver Transplant Institute (PKLI) project will be inaugurated on December 25, 2017 and kidney and liver patients will get latest healthcare facilities in Pakistan. While chairing a video conference held at Civil Secretariat in Lahore from London today, Shahbaz reviewed in detail progress on the project. CEO of Infrastructure Development Authority Punjab gave a briefing about the development on this project.
Addressing the video conference, he said that the provincial government is setting up latest hospital for the patients of kidney and liver with a cost of billions of rupees and added that healthcare facilities of international standard will be provided in this hospital. "We shall give the right of international standard healthcare facilities to the common man and needy patients will get hundred percent free treatments. The whole system of this medical institution will be fully digitalized under hospital management information system which would tremendously benefit the patients," he said.
