PFA seals fake ketchup factory in Jhang

PFA team lead by DG PFA raided and sealed a fake ketchup factory in Jhang. According to PFA Spokesperson, factory functioning in Mandi Mor of Jhang was sealed and six thousand kg fatal ketchup was recovered and discarded. Starch and chemical were being used in manufacturing of ketchup and there was no sign of any fruit in the factory. Factory was functioning in a residential area without any license.
Spokesperson further added that PFA has been expanded up to Tehsil level for the sake of leaving no space for adulteration mafia. In other activities, DG PFA Noor ul Amin Mengal checked different schools in Faisalabad, Jhang and Toba Tek Singh and rewarded five thousand rupees to Mrs. Maqbool Javaid, Principal DPS School Toba Tek Singh, for maintaining clean and healthy edibles in canteen.
On the other hand, six schools were issued warning notices in Toba Tek Singh. In addition to this, PFA Faisalabad teams sealed the canteens of Central school system on Jhang road and Animer High School in Iqbal town of Faisalabad for keeping carbonated drinks, selling fried edibles and storing eatables in dirty and broken freezers. Not only this but canteens of Punjab Group of Colleges, EFA School System, Makka Public High School, Bait e Arqam School System, The City International High School System, White Rose Girls High School, White Rose Boys High School, Kaleem Usman Grammar High School, Osama bin Zaid Public High School, Blessing Home High School, DGS Grammar School, SM School, Allied School, Shibli College of Commerce, City High School, The Smart School, Royal Grammar School and Dar e Arqam School situated respectively in Batala colony, Aziz Fatima road Gulistan colony, Iqbal Chowk Ghulam Mohammadabad Peoples colony number 2 Muslim Park, Raja Road Gulistan Colony, Hamid Park, Liaquatabad, Shabaz town, Ameen town, Sarfaraz colony, Mansoorabad, Gulberg B, Canal road, West canal road, Batala colony, Koh I Noor, Sehgal colony and Samandri road were issued notices for storing eatables in dirty and broken freezers, keeping edibles on floor and mislabeling on edibles.
