Two-day International Educational Conference will be held in Lahore on 8th and 9th of November this year. This conference would be attended by renowned educational experts and representatives of development agencies from across the globe. On the occasion, the educational reforms of the Punjab Schools Education Department will be reviewed in detail and the expertise and international experience of the world-renowned experts would be solicited so as to make the educational system of the Punjab province modernized in accordance with the needs and requirements of the modern-day challenges.
This was stated by Punjab Schools Education Minister Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan while presiding over a review meeting held at the committee room of urban unit today to finalize the arrangements of this conference. Special Secretary Schools Rana Hassan Akhtar, representatives of different departments including officials of international partners attended the meeting.
The meeting discussed and reviewed the progress on arrangements for holding this conference and observed that it would be an important gathering attended by experts. The Minister said that this conference would also help to give awareness about international experiences and reforms processes initiated in other countries. The Pakistan educational experts would have an opportunity to exchange views with the visitors to further improve their performance and professionalism, Rana Mashhood added.
