Zubair F Tufail of Tufail Group has been elected unopposed as chairman of the Pakistan Chemical Manufacturers Association (PCMA) for the year 2017-18. According to the elections' result, Zafar Mahmood of NIMIR Chemicals Ltd and. Abdul Qayoom of Engro Polymers & Chemicals Ltd were also elected as senior vice chairman and vice chairman of the association, respectively.
Earlier elections for the executive committee members were conducted wherein 16 members including Abrar Ahmad of Shafi Reso Chemical, Ali Majeed of ICI Pak Ltd, Amir Niazi of Descon Oxychem Ltd, Ghulam Mustafa of Ittehad Chemicals Lt, Haroon Ali Khan, CHT Pakistan Pvt Ltd, Humaira Shazia (Women Seat) of DIC Pakistan Ltd, Mohsin Tariq of MIMIR Chemical Pakistan Ltd, Muhammad Adrees of Sitara Chemical Industries Ltd, Muhammad Shakil Monoo of Olympia Chemicals Ltd, Nabila Intisar (Women Seat) of Waleed Tech Pvt, Ltd, Pervez Tanveer Tufail of Tufail Chemicals & Surfactants Pvt, Ltd, Zafar Mahmood of Nimir Industrial Chemicals Ltd and Zubair F Tufail of Tufail Chemical Industries Ltd. were elected unopposed.
