Although, 44 candidates were in the run in NA-120 by-election, but most of the leading candidates in the run were not voters of the constituency. The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) candidate Begum Kulsoom Nawaz is registered as voter in NA-119 while that of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's contestant Dr Yasmin Rashid is a registered voter of NA-128. The vote of Pakistan People's Party (PPP) candidate Faisal Mir is not registered in NA-120 either. The vote of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) contestant Zia-ud-Din Ansari is registered in NA-119 while that of Awami National Party Amir Bahadur Hoti is voter of NA-130. The vote of Muhammad Yaqoob Sheikh is also not registered in NA-120.
