Ousted prime minister Nawaz Sharif has said on Saturday that he has directed Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi to personally probe the 'disappearance' of party workers ahead of NA-120 by-polls that were held on September 17. Nawaz Sharif answered questions of the media in London following his meeting with Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi at his residence.
He said he has a principled stance over his disqualification and the people of Pakistan have stood by him. Referring to his 'homecoming rally', he said that the people of Pakistan all along from Islamabad to Lahore supported his stance. He branded that democratic forces like PML-N are to suffer if reports of 'religious parties being funded' true. PM Abbasi called on the premier today after he returned from the United States after delivering an address to the United Nations General Assembly.
