Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday left here for London, to discuss the country's political scenario with former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, who is already in the UK to look after his ailing wife Kulsoom Nawaz. Sources claim that Shahbaz has proceeded to London on an important mission in a bid to adopt future strategy of the party in the wake of notices issued by the NAB to the members of Sharif family.
Nawaz Sharif has already called a consultative meeting in London, which is expected to be attended among others by Shahbaz Sharif, Ishaq Dar, Pervaiz Rashid, Hamza Shahbaz, Maryam Nawaz.
In the wake of passage of clause 203 of the Electoral Reforms Bill, the meeting is going to discuss the electoral reforms and next party leadership, the sources said, adding: "Party's future line of action and return of Nawaz Sharif to the country would also be discussed."
