Secretary General, Jamaat-e-Islami, Liaqat Baloch, has lauded the bold stance of Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, the Army Chief as also Pakistan's permanent envoy in the United Nations against India and on the Kashmir issue.
While addressing a party meeting in the city on Monday, he said it was high time that strong lobbying and diplomatic efforts were also started at the international level so as to counter New Delhi's false propaganda in this respect and to convince the world community for the Kashmir's right of self determination. The JI Secretary General condemned the attitude of the past and the present government in regard to rental power and Reko December projects. He said that loss of billions was caused to the public exchequer as was the worst example of corruption and incompetence. He hoped that the NAB courts would take these cases urgently and bring the culprits to the book. He hailed ousted Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's decision to return home and face the NAB courts.
