Spot basis bids for hard red winter (HRW) wheat held steady in the southern US Plains on Monday as farmer selling remained thin. Rains in the southern Plains "should lead to further improvements in soil moisture across the hard red wheat belt, but some flooding is possible in western Texas," MDA Weather Services said in a note to clients.
