Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Allama Tahir ul Qadri has said that despite all unfair means and accusations against the Army and the judiciary, the disqualified prime minister Nawaz Sharif cannot escape accountability.
Addressing the 23rd foundation day of his party's student wing Mustafavi Students Movement (MSM) here on Friday, Dr Qadri said it is shameful that PML-N has again made Nawaz Sharif as their party president who had been declared a dishonest and untruthful person by the Apex court of the country. "By doing so, the party leaders had blackened their faces in the mirror of history," Qadri added.
The PAT chairman said Nawaz Sharif is threatening the State institutions as well as the brave members of the JIT who had exposed his massive corruption and plunder of the national wealth. However, Qadri said his party (PAT) and the entire nation are standing like a rock behind the national institutions and the judiciary.
He said he had informed the people about Sharif family's corruption 27 years ago. He thanked Allah Almighty that these corrupt people and their cohorts have been fully exposed before the nation and the State institutions. They will surely meet their bitter end, Qadri hoped.
Addressing the 23rd foundation day of MSM, Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din, Chairman of Supreme Council of Tehreek-e-Minhajul Quran said the struggle of PAT, MQI and MSM is for the sake of promotion of peace and knowledge. They are the vanguard of Mustafavi revolution.
Secretary General PAT Khurram Nawaz Gandapur and central president of MSM Chaudhry Irfan Yousaf also addressed the ceremony. A resolution adopted on the occasion paid tribute to the sacrifices of victims of Model Town tragedy and demand publication of Justice Baqir Najfi's inquiry report.
